Well, it was a long time coming but Kathy and I finally brought the new "baby" home on Friday. The accompanying picture shows the bike after I finally manuevered into position on our downhill driveway slope. It DEFINITELY doesn't handle in tight quarters as easily as the Softail did. Of course, and extra 100 lbs or so and extended wheel base makes a difference.
The color scheme is Vivid Black over Lava Red. I'm still trying to figure out all of the radio/CD/CB/intercom settings. I think I've discovered that the headsets will NOT work with our half shell helmets. We ridden for 20+ years together without an intercom so that isn't the biggest deal in the world although I was looking forward to the CB aspect of this bike.
At any rate, I'm sitting here typing about riding when I could be out riding so... I'm outta here!
