Fair Weather Rider?
One of my New Year's resolutions was to cut back on my work hours and spend more time enjoying non-work activities. Yes, getting the new UltraClassic definitely qualifies as non-work enjoyment! My plan has been to find ways to enjoy Fridays more, which includes riding the bike more often. Last Friday was wonderful as I managed to get in some quality time in the saddle.
With the weather returning to more seasonal temperatures and conditions this Friday, I find myself contemplating just how much of a fair weather rider I might have become. With the snow swirling outside the window as I write this, I'm pretty sure that the new bike will get to stay dry (if not warm) in it's enclosure. My F-150 (with great heating and sound systems) sitting between me and the bike seems somewhat more appealing right now plus I don't have to worry about damaging the new bike if two wheels just aren't enough in this weather.
So, fair weather rider? Well, yeah, today I am. I hope it is a transient condition...
